Support, included in the price

At super.am, support is part of the monthly price. For your servers and racks, an engineer who is already in the building does the physical work: reboots, cable work and part swaps, each closed with a photo report. Remote hands cost €130 an hour when planned and €260 when not.

Hardware, not your operating system

We touch the hardware, not your operating system.

We do

  • Reboot and power cycle — on request, at any hour.

  • Cable work — patching, re-cabling, labelling, cable management.

  • Drive and PSU swaps — your spare from our shelf, or a new part from stock.

  • Memory and NIC upgrades — parts supplied by you or bought by us.

  • Visual inspection — front and back, with a photo report.

  • Receiving and racking a shipment — from the loading dock to a live port.

  • Packing and de-installation — including insured shipping out.

We do not

  • We do not administer operating systems or applications. Installing, patching or supporting your software is not remote hands.

What the month includes

  • Remote hands — every job is billed, a reboot too; planned work costs half.
  • The asset passport — one per machine, included.
  • Your spares on our shelf — parts and small components, included; a whole server, free for the first 6 months, then €30 a month.
  • Racking — included.
  • Receiving and shipping — included when you tell us 2 working days ahead and send an inventory list; an unannounced delivery is €55.
  • Access — 24/7, with a pool of IP-KVM, included.
  • Hardware swap — from your spare on our shelf, billed as remote hands

FAQ

What does an hour of remote hands cover? Show the answerHide the answer
Physical work on your hardware by an engineer who is already in the building: reboots, cable work, drive and PSU swaps, memory and NIC upgrades and inspection with a photo report. It is €130 an hour when planned, 30 minutes minimum, billed in 15-minute increments, and €260 an hour otherwise, 1 hour minimum.
Is a reboot billed? Show the answerHide the answer
Yes, like any remote hands job: €130 an hour when planned, €260 otherwise. Through the BMC (IPMI) of your server you can reboot it yourself at any hour.
Which languages does the engineer speak? Show the answerHide the answer
Armenian, Russian and English everywhere; in Amsterdam the team also speaks Chinese, French and German. The chat is how server and rack customers reach the engineer on duty; before a contract, write to [email protected] or use the form.
Do you administer my operating system? Show the answerHide the answer
No. We touch the hardware, not your operating system: installing, patching or supporting your software is not remote hands.
