# Managed colocation in Amsterdam Markdown twin of `colocation.html`. Same facts, same words, no layout. ## COLO-01 — Answer first **heading** Managed colocation in Amsterdam **intro** Managed colocation is colocation where the provider also does the physical work: buying or receiving the hardware, storing spares, racking, cabling, connecting, replacing parts and documenting every change, so the customer runs the equipment remotely and never has to travel. super.am does that work in carrier-neutral datacenters in the Amsterdam area, from a quarter rack to a full 46U rack and a data room of your own. **support-line** Colocation you never have to visit. **figure** 46U cabinet, rear elevation The back of the cabinet: a patch panel across the top unit, a solid A feed bundle down the left rail and a long dashed B feed down the right, one power cord from each side to every machine, and solid copper patch cords rising to the panel. ## COLO-02 — Ordinary colocation, and this **heading** Who does each job **intro** The difference is not the rack. It is the list of jobs that lands on your team the day after the rack is signed for. Here is the same list, twice. **column-1** Ordinary colocation **column-2** super.am managed colocation **items** - **Choosing the configuration** — You, alone. / With our engineers, in writing, before you spend. - **Buying the hardware** — You, plus import and customs. / We buy in the EU on your behalf, warranty handled here. - **Receiving the delivery** — You send someone. / Our warehouse in the Netherlands signs for it. - **Burn-in test** — You, before shipping. / We test and photograph serial numbers. - **Racking and rails** — You fly in, or you pay per hour. / Included. - **Power A and B** — You. / Included. - **Cabling and optics** — You bring them. / From stock on site, in the monthly line. - **IP and BGP setup** — You. / With our engineers, your ASN, your prefixes. - **Ordering a cross-connect** — You, through a portal. / We order and patch it. - **Swapping a failed drive** — You raise a ticket and wait. / Your spare is on our shelf; a photo closes the job. - **RMA with the vendor** — You ship it back yourself. / We handle it, packing included. - **Documenting the change** — Your spreadsheet, if anyone updates it. / The asset passport, updated by the engineer who did the work. - **Moving out** — You fly in again. / We de-install, pack and ship. ## COLO-08 — What you run yourself **heading** You run it. We hold the screwdriver. **intro** Nothing here is optional extra. These are the controls you keep, so that the distance between you and the rack changes nothing about how you operate the machine. **items** - **IP-KVM** — from a shared pool. - **Your addresses** — your prefixes under your ASN, or allocations from us. - **Your routing** — a BGP session with the full table. - **DDoS filtering** — blackhole included, scrubbing as an option. ## COLO-04 — Formats The table folds. Closed, the control reads **Show the table**; open, it reads **Hide the table**. **heading** From a quarter rack to your own room **intro** Four formats, one building. **items** - **Quarter rack** — about 10U, at €465 per committed kW, from 1 kW: €465 a month. - **Half rack** — about 21U, at €465 per committed kW, from 2 kW: €930 a month. - **Full rack** — 46U in your own locked cabinet, at €465 per committed kW, from 4 kW: €1,860 a month. - **Private data room** — from 10 racks, in a room of your own in the same building. - Committed power goes up in steps of 1 kW, with 7 kW per rack as standard; denser racks on request. - Prices are indexed to the Dutch consumer price index (CBS) on 1 January; the energy part changes only when the datacenter's tariff does, on 60 days' notice. **figure** The rack formats, dimensioned on one elevation One cabinet with redline dimension brackets: about ten units for a quarter rack, about twenty-one for a half rack, and the full forty-six. ## COLO-03 — What's included, in full The table folds. Closed, the control reads **Show the table**; open, it reads **Hide the table**. **heading** Everything the price covers **intro** Every position here is work somebody has to do; the question a price list answers is only who. **items** - **From the order to the rack** - Every one of the eight steps below, from the first consultation to the port coming up - **Network** - A port, with IP transit - Your own IPs, or your own prefixes announced under your ASN over a BGP session - Cross-connects to Nikhef and Equinix AM5, on request - DDoS blackhole included; scrubbing as an option - **Self-management** - An IP-KVM pool - Reboot through the BMC (IPMI) of your server, at any hour - **Maintenance** - Remote hands: drive and PSU swaps, memory and NIC upgrades, cable work - Your spare part on our shelf - RMA handled with the vendor, packing and shipping included - A photo report closing every job - An asset passport per machine, with the full change history - **Documents and money** - Contract and closing documents your accountant expects - Invoices from the Armenian entity in AMD, USD or EUR - One price list in EUR excluding VAT, identical in all three languages - Only power and traffic above a port commitment are metered on a colocation invoice - **People** - Direct chat with the engineer on duty - Support in Armenian, Russian and English - A written proposal ## COLO-11 — What you actually pay for **heading** Four axes, one line on the invoice **intro** No hidden coordination cost, because the coordination is the product. The invoice has four axes, and nothing on it moves month to month except the meters and the hands you order. **items** - **Space** — per rack: a quarter rack from 1 kW, a half rack from 2 kW and a full rack from 4 kW, each priced by its committed power. - **Power** — per committed kW on a rack: €465 a month per kW, in steps of 1 kW. Each started kW above the commitment costs €510 that month. - **Port** — two choices: the speed of the port and the commitment on it, measured at the 95th percentile. One 1 Gbps port per rack is included with IP transit; the rest is in the table below. - **Hands** — per hour, in increments: planned work, booked at least one working day ahead and done Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 Amsterdam time: €130 an hour, 30 minutes minimum, billed in 15-minute increments. Any other work, whether the same day, urgent, at night or at the weekend: €260 an hour, 1 hour minimum; we tell you the expected start before you agree. Prepaid hours come in packs of 10, 25 and 50. - **One-off** — a cross-connect, installation outside the included scope, de-installation: setup of a full rack is €1,650 on a 12-month term, €825 on 24 months and €0 on 36, and of a half rack €825, €412.50 and €0; month to month, €2,750 and €1,375. A cross-connect between your racks in one datacenter is included; one to our network from another company in the building is €390 one-off and €69 a month; between datacenters, on request. **note** Prices are set in EUR excluding VAT, canonical on the English pages, and invoiced by the Armenian entity in AMD, USD or EUR at the Central Bank of Armenia rate on the invoice date. Month to month, a kW is €580 instead of €465. Only power and traffic above a port commitment are metered on a colocation invoice. ## COLO-14 — Configure the rack **heading** Configure it, and watch the line assemble **intro** The same four axes as the invoice: space, power, port, hands. Change one input and the line changes with it. **fields** - **Format** — quarter rack, half rack or full rack - **Servers** — how many machines go in - **Committed power** — kW, from 1, 2 or 4 by format, in steps of 1, up to 7 - **Port** — the included 1 Gbps, or a priced option - **IPv4** — how many addresses are routed to you - **Remote hands** — planned hours per month - **Term** — month to month, or 12, 24 or 36 months; it sets the setup and, month to month, the rate **formats** - Quarter rack - Half rack - Full rack **ports** - 1 Gbps, included - Extra 1 Gbps, 300 Mbps committed - Extra 1 Gbps, whole port - 10 Gbps, 1 Gbps committed - 10 Gbps, 3 Gbps committed - 10 Gbps, 5 Gbps committed - 10 Gbps, whole port - 40 Gbps, whole port - 100 Gbps, whole port **terms** - Month to month - 12 months - 24 months - 36 months **units** - Per kW - Setup **total** - **Monthly total** — the sum of the lines above, excluding VAT. - **One-off** — setup and installation, charged once, outside the monthly line. How metering works The notes fold. Closed, the control reads **Show the notes**; open, it reads **Hide the notes**. **notes** - Each started kW above the commitment costs €510 that month. - Above 7 kW per rack — on request. **reset** - **Reset the configuration** — back to the drawing board: the configuration this page opens with [Every price, on one page](pricing.html) | Per month | How much: units, racks or kW | Per unit | Excluding VAT | |---|---|---|---| | Power | 4 | Per kW | €1,860 | | Setup | 1 | One-off | €1,650 | Monthly total: €1,860 One-off: €1,650 **how** Press minus or plus, or drag a part into the bay. **units, for some choices only** - Per port - Per address **held** - On request: above 7 kW per rack, or off the 1 kW step ## COLO-05 — The journey, step by step **heading** Eight steps, one by one **intro** What we do at each one. **column-1** Step **column-2** What we do **items** - **Consult** — we scope the configuration and send a written bill of materials. - **Buy** — we source hardware in the EU on your behalf. - **Test** — burn-in, serial numbers photographed, asset passport opened. - **Ship** — insured transport to the datacenter, or receiving at our warehouse in the Netherlands. - **Rack** — rails, mounting, labels, power on the A feed and the B feed. - **Cable** — copper and optics from stock, cable management, port map recorded. - **Connect** — port up, your IPs or your prefixes over BGP, cross-connect ordered. - **Run** — you run it. We hold the screwdriver. From this point the machine is yours to operate. ## COLO-10 — Moving in from another datacenter **heading** Moving in from another datacenter **intro** Equipment already installed somewhere else moves in as a project with a written plan: what travels, who packs it, what is insured, how long it is down, and how you check that everything arrived. **items** - **Inventory** — we build the asset passport from your current documentation before anything is unplugged. - **Plan** — machine by machine: what moves, what stays powered on, what order they go in. - **Packing** — our team packs and labels, in transport cases, insured from handover. - **Transport** — our own vehicles between the datacenters. - **Racking and cabling** — the same eight-step work as a new install, from step 5. - **Acceptance** — port up, photo report, passport updated. You check the list, not the rack. **figure** The route in from another datacenter From another datacenter, packed and carried in our own vehicles, into the data rooms in the Amsterdam area. ## COLO-06 — The network, in full **heading** Uplinks, exchanges and your own routing **intro** A carrier-neutral building means the routing decisions are yours: we can connect you to any provider present at Nikhef or Equinix AM5, on request, and your prefixes are announced under your own ASN. **items** - IP transit at 1 Gbps included, with 10, 40 and 100 Gbps ports available - Your own IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes announced under your ASN, full BGP table; the BGP session is free - IPv4 and IPv6 allocations from us if you do not have your own: €3.50 a month per IPv4 address, or a block at /29 €18, /28 €31, /27 €53, /26 €88, /25 €141, /24 €220; an IPv6 /48 free - Private VLANs between your racks, included - Layer 2 point-to-point circuits, on request - A cross-connect between your racks in one datacenter, patched by us: included - A cross-connect to our network from another company in the same building: €390 one-off and €69 a month - A cross-connect between datacenters: on request - Private and public peering, included - DDoS blackhole included; scrubbing on request **Port and commitment** - Port - 300 Mbps - 1 Gbps - 3 Gbps - 5 Gbps - Whole port - **1 Gbps** — €99 — €165 - **10 Gbps** — €275 — €495 — €715 — €1,100 - **40 Gbps** — €1,590 - **100 Gbps** — €3,250 Per month. Above a commitment, each Mbps costs €0.22 at the 95th percentile. A whole port has no meter: full speed, 1:1. The 1 Gbps row is an extra port; one comes with every rack. **latency-heading** Round-trip time from Amsterdam The table folds. Closed, the control reads **Show the table**; open, it reads **Hide the table**. **latency-items** - **London — 12.1 ms** - **Frankfurt — 14.7 ms** - **Warsaw — 25.8 ms** - **Kyiv — 37.6 ms** - **Yerevan — 59.8 ms** - **Istanbul — 64.1 ms** - **Tbilisi — 64.7 ms** **latency-note** Public probe measurements, not measured on our network. ## COLO-15 — What the port actually gives you **heading** Two ways out, and your routing on top **items** - **Two independent paths** — two fibre paths leave the building. - **Your addresses** — your own IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes, or allocations from us if you have none. - **Your ASN** — your prefixes announced over a BGP session with the full table. - **DDoS** — blackhole included, scrubbing as an option. ## UI-08 — Where the round-trip numbers come from **source** Round-trip times measured by WonderNetwork internet probes. **read** Probe table read on 7 September 2026. ## COLO-07 — Remote hands **heading** Remote hands **intro** Remote hands is physical work on your machine, done by an engineer who is already in the building. It is billed by time, it closes with a photograph, and it has a boundary: we touch the hardware, not your operating system. **billing** Planned work, booked at least one working day ahead and done Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 Amsterdam time: €130 an hour, 30 minutes minimum, billed in 15-minute increments. Any other work, whether the same day, urgent, at night or at the weekend: €260 an hour, 1 hour minimum; we tell you the expected start before you agree. Prepaid hours come in packs of 10, 25 and 50. [Support, included in the price](support.html) ## COLO-09 — The asset passport **heading** You will know your rack better than the one in your office **intro** Every machine has a passport, and every job written into it. **items** - **Photographs** — front and back, at intake and after every change. - **Serial numbers** — chassis, drives, PSUs, optics. - **Rack position** — room, rack, the exact U. - **Port map** — which port on which switch, and what is at the other end. - **Power feed** — which outlet on the A feed, which on the B feed. - **Change history** — who did what, when, with the photo report attached. ## COLO-12 — FAQ Each answer folds. Closed, the control reads **Show the answer**; open, it reads **Hide the answer**. **items** - **What is the difference between colocation and managed colocation?** — In colocation you rent space, power and a locked door, and every physical job is yours. In managed colocation the provider buys or receives the hardware, racks it, cables it, swaps the parts and documents every change. - **Can you buy the servers for me?** — Yes. We source hardware in the EU on your behalf, so there is no import for you, the warranty is handled here, and the machine arrives configured and burn-in tested. - **What is the smallest rack?** — A quarter rack, about 10U, from 1 kW committed: €465 a month. The largest is a private data room from 10 racks. - **How is power billed?** — A rack is billed per committed kW: €465 a month per kW, in steps of 1 kW. Each started kW above the commitment costs €510 that month. Prices are indexed to the Dutch consumer price index (CBS) on 1 January; the energy part changes only when the datacenter's tariff does, on 60 days' notice. - **My servers are already in another Amsterdam datacenter. Can you take them over?** — Yes, as a migration project with a written plan, our own transport and insurance from handover. - **What do I get in writing?** — A contract, closing documents your accountant expects, and an asset passport per machine. # Shared interface strings — `UI-*` ## COLO-13 — The interconnection sites, as they stand **items** - Dual fibre paths from the data rooms to Nikhef and Equinix AM5 ## UI-01 — The two doors **primary** Get a quote **secondary** Write to sales ## SVC-02 — Quote form **heading** Request a written quote **field-1** Name, company and country **field-2** E-mail or Telegram **field-3** What you need **field-4** How much: units, racks or kW **field-5** Anything we should know **submit** Send the request **note** No account, no CAPTCHA wall.
